Mediterranean Dreams was born from a late night conversation between myself (Franco Moscato - England) and my cousin (Rino Spiga - Sardinia).
I was looking to fulfill my dream of having a holiday/retirement home in Italy.
While I was on holiday in Sardinia I fell instantly in love with the island, the people, the sunshine and most importantly a 100 year old renovation project.
Luckily for me, my family felt the same!
Having decided to buy the property, we returned to England and left the paperwork and the notorious red tape of the Italian Legal System in the capable hands of my cousin.
When I returned to Sardinia six weeks later, I went straight to the solicitors office, paid for the house, signed all the legal documents and in one hour I had the keys to my "Mediterranean Dream".
Having realized my dream, Rino and I discussed the
idea of offering this service to others who might be considering buying an investment property or holiday home, but who were a little wary of the Italian Legal System.
